| Louisville makes an appearance at #24 in the AP Top 25 poll this week, one of two new teams. Florida State is the biggest gainer this week, hopping six spots to #15.
Kentucky holds steady at the top for the second straight week. Louisville enters the Top 25 with a win at home over Rutgers, 78-66. Harvard comes in at #25 with wins against Columbia, 57-52 and Cornell, 71-60. Gonzaga drops out of the Top 25 this week with an upset loss at Brigham Young, 83-73 and a win at Pepperdine, 72-60. Vanderbilt drops out after losses to then-12th ranked Florida, 73-65 and Arkansas, 82-74.
Florida State is a big mover this week, vaulting six places to #15, following a win at home over Georgia Tech, 68-54 and an upset win at home over then-16th ranked Virginia, 58-55. Creighton tanked four spots to #17 after a win against Illinois State, 102-74 and a loss to Northern Iowa, 65-62. Florida jumped up 4 spots to #8 after wins against then-25th ranked Vanderbilt and South Carolina, 74-66.
